They want to force the common-law spouse of the late singer Zhanna Friske to take a DNA test to confirm paternity. Friske's parents do not rule out that their daughter was not born from Dmitry Shepelev.
Not long ago, lawyer Radik Gushchin appealed to the Khamovnichesky Court in Moscow - he claims that Friske’s two-year-old son Platon was born from him. The man wants to challenge through the court the paternity of Shepelev, with whom Friske was not legally married. According to the Komsomolskaya Pravda website, Gushchin hid his affair with the singer, since he himself is married and has a child.
Earlier, the boy’s grandfather stated that Shepelev is not Plato’s natural father. Zhanna Friske's father said that he would insist on an examination. However, according to the law, it is impossible to force Shepelev to this procedure without his voluntary consent.
Lawyer Gennady Rashchevsky, who represents the interests of Zhanna Friske’s father, said that Gushchin is his former student. And although he did not delve into the details of his pupil’s life, he does not rule out that Gushchin had an affair with the singer. However, according to Raschevsky, Gushchin would not have left his wife for his mistress, and Zhanna, in turn, did not want the child to grow up without a father.
“I do not rule out that Radik may be Plato’s father. Or he may not be. In any case, we question Shepelev’s paternity. We have evidence that artificial insemination was used and she was looking for a father for the child,” Rashchevsky said. He added that Gushchin himself is ready to take a paternity test and would like Shepelev to take it too.
Journalists considered it a strange coincidence that Friske’s father hired Raschevsky, with whose former student Zhanna allegedly had an affair. “It’s a small world,” said the lawyer, adding that he himself met Zhanna 20 years ago.
