Master Class. Floral arrangement made from electrical tape “Roses”.

Rose is one of the most beautiful flowers, which can be purchased anywhere. There are many ways to make an artificial rose. But can you imagine roses made from duct tape? These roses will last much longer than paper ones, and they will be an excellent gift or decoration for any holiday.

Required materials and tools:

- electrical tape of the desired color (red, white, yellow),
- skewers for barbecue.

Sequence of work.
Take red electrical tape (1.8 cm wide electrical tape is shown here), cut it to create one 2 cm petal). Place the tape so that the sticky side is on top. Fold the top two corners towards the center to form a triangle, with an adhesive strip at the bottom.

You need a lot of such triangles - these are rose petals.

Take a skewer. We wrap the sticky side of the leaf to the top of the skewer.

This turns out to be the beginning of a bud.

Take the second petal. We place the vertex of the triangle opposite the vertex of the first one, only then we wind it.

We place the third petal between the corners of the first and second petals, and then also wrap it.

We do the same with the remaining petals: we place the vertices of the triangle between the already existing petals. You need to attach them sequentially in one direction so that the rosette has the correct shape. After a while we will have a small rosebud.

By attaching the required number of petals, you get a blooming rose.

For sepals, cut 4-5 squares (about

2cm) green electrical tape.

We take the square with the top (it turns out to be a rhombus) and wrap the sticky side to the base of the flower. Repeat this several times to create a sepal.

To make leaves, take a cotton swab, thick paper 1.8 cm wide, cut green electrical tape into 2 lengths of 6 cm and one of 9 cm.

We cut the paper 3 times into 2 cm pieces. Place the resulting rectangles at the beginning of each strip of electrical tape on the sticky side.

Glue the paper to the electrical tape by bending it. On the resulting dense sides we draw leaves.

From cotton swab cut off the cotton heads with scissors.

We apply a stick to the edge of a large leaf and wrap it.

The result was a leaf with a petiole.

We wrap the leaves with the adhesive side.

We begin to design the stem of the rose. We wrap green electrical tape from the base of the sepal.

At the same time adding leaves.

If you make several roses, you will get a whole bouquet.

But the bouquet needs to be placed somewhere. I propose to make a vase using the same electrical tape, but of a different color.

Making a vase.

Would need:
- glass jar,
- scissors,
- electrical tape, white, yellow and of blue color,
- nail polish remover or acetone.

The order of work.
We treat the surface of the jar with nail polish remover and dry it. This is necessary so that the electrical tape adheres better to the glass. Then we wrap the adhesive side with blue electrical tape around the jar, starting from the bottom, pressing the electrical tape well against the jar. After wrapping the convex part of the can in blue, switch to white electrical tape. Make the next convex part blue, and the neck white.

We decorate the bottom of the jar. We cut strips slightly longer than the diameter of the base of the jar, lay the strips crosswise and press well.
