Fasteners.developing exercise equipment for fingers with fasteners

I am pleased to present to you my new development: finger training exerciser with clasps. This is, so to speak, rough work, there are some shortcomings, but the idea itself is effective, which I am very happy about.)) The toy turned out to be mega-compact. 6 types of fasteners are used: tie, fasta, hook, button, Velcro and button.

This is the flower that opened:

Fastened the button:

Velcro fastened:

Fastened with a button, then with a hook:

Tied a bow:

And finally, we fastened the fasta (carbine). The bud closed. When folded, the toy is slightly larger than my palm. This means that it won’t hurt in mom’s purse, and you can take it with you wherever you are expected to wait, and spend time usefully.))

Well, this is the view from the back:

Now I’ll change the design of this flower a little, probably making the petals a little narrower and of different lengths.

I’ve been wanting to sew these nesting dolls for a long time, and I finally did. Seven nesting dolls - seven fasteners:) : detachable zipper, belt fastener, fasta, Velcro, button, hook, ribbon with ring. I embroidered the faces.

Fastener cars

He ran to the platform, climbed into the uncoupled carriage...

While I was sewing the locomotive, these words did not leave my head.)))

So, I present mine new job from the men's series: CLOSED CARS!)

I really wanted to come up with toys specifically for boys. Last night two ideas came to me at once and plus one is already in the process of production. I will have a series for boys.))

Today I woke up, had breakfast and rushed to work))), fortunately my grandmother came to visit and looked after the children.

Clasps: fasta, snaps, buttons, magnetic clasp, hooks, Velcro.

Toy compact. The size of the cars is approximately 10*10 cm.

I’m thinking of sewing some kind of case for him, for example, with a zipper or lace-up, then in order to get or put away the toy, the child will need to work a little more with his fingers, accordingly, practice learning how to use clasps and develop fine motor skills.)

Educational book "Cat"

I wanted to sew a book with either a hare or a cat, because this is an animal of 2011. Although I don’t believe in horoscopes, I think it’s good that every year is the year of some animal, so it’s probably even interesting that everyone gives each other gifts with animals :).

This is how the book turned out:

Format: 20.5 *20.5. I left a space at the bottom where you can embroider the child’s name or wish. I embroidered the face, shifting eyes, padding polyester in the ears, and beads, beads, buttons, petal beads in the tips of the paws; The book is assembled and disassembled, attached to a ribbon:

Fastens with a button:

Flower. All petals are made of suede, bend back (sewn at the base), rustle, one does not rustle, there are buttons inside it, the child needs to find it by touch. A butterfly is sewn at the top. The leaf is also sewn at the base, with beads inside it.

Bug. The legs are beads on a hat elastic band and can be moved, the eyes are buttons.

Mouse in cheese. The cheese is sewn vertically on both sides, the mouse can be hidden. The mouse squeaks. I embroidered the holes.

House. There is a bell sewn to the house, the window opens with Velcro, and there is an applique - a girl.

Ship. The ship floats if you pull the string. It is sewn under the mesh.

Gates. Gate with detachable zipper. Behind the gate there is an embroidered car, the wheels are buttons.

Backpack . Learning to use fasteners. You can put a surprise inside. I sewed a patch on the side.

It comes off completely from the page and is attached with Velcro. Can be used by a child as a handbag or wallet.

Mitten with fur. To develop tactile sensations.

The reverse side of the book is the tail of our cat :). At the tip of the tail there are small buttons on the legs. Sewn only at the base.

The book went to Matvey in Skopin.)

Educational toys are very useful for children of all ages. Let's learn to sew toys with numerous fasteners!

With all the variety of educational toys that are sold in the store, it’s so nice to make a toy for a child with your own hands! After all, here you can show all your imagination and do exactly what is ideal for your baby.

This is why the topic of DIY educational toys is so interesting for young mothers.

Today we will tell you how to make an educational toy with fasteners.

Examples of educational toys with fasteners

On the Internet you can find several options for such educational toys for children. The assembly principle is general: the toy is some kind of animal consisting of several elements: head, body, tail.

Dachshund

The elements are connected to each other using various fasteners: buttons, magnetic buttons, carabiners, lacing and adhesive (contact) tape.

The dachshund's head is attached to the body using adhesive tape

Body parts are connected using buttons

Lacing

In addition to development fine motor skills, such a toy can be used to develop color perception ( individual elements can be made from fabric of different colors, with stripes, checks, polka dots), as well as to develop tactile sensations (use different fillers and fabrics of different textures).

Look at the different versions of this toy made by different authors:

Crocodile

Lizard

Caterpillar - centipede

Dog and giraffe

As you can see, various beads are additionally sewn on the dog’s back, with which you can teach your baby to count.

Fish

The peculiarity of this fish is that on its back the fins are made of grosgrain ribbon with different patterns. You can offer your child a game: “Find the same ribbons” or simply string loops of ribbons onto the fingers.

Cat

However, the toy does not have to be long. The author of this cat made it round, consisting of several sections.

Key points in creating an educational toy

So, if you decide to make such an educational toy with your own hands, then the first thing you need to decide is what kind of animal you will make.

After that, we select the material. Optimal: 4–5 different colors. Put them side by side and evaluate whether they fit together.

Hands are very important for a person. Every day they perform thousands of different movements, most of which are done unconsciously. Therefore, in the development of a child, special attention should be paid to fine motor skills. Kids love to touch objects, feel them, and try to perform simple movements with their hands.

Toys for the development of fine motor skills serve as excellent practical materials with which a child learns through play every day. You can make them yourself using a variety of available tools.

There are many master classes that help children of all ages make toys at home. Many modern parents try to develop their child’s motor skills early, while he is still an infant. Kids are always interested in new things.

However, choosing materials and step by step instructions, it is worth remembering the following precautions:

  1. Sew all the elements of the toy tightly, especially small ones - children not only love to touch, but also try out the item they like.
  2. After finishing the craft, check all its elements yourself, several times. How tightly are the buttons sewn on? Is it easy to unzip? Are there tight spots where you could accidentally get your finger caught?
  3. Examine the toy. Remember, there should not be any small sharp ends, cutting edges or other dangerous elements that could injure the baby.
  4. Use only natural materials that do not contain any impurities or chemicals for toys to develop hand motor skills for children.
  5. Use your imagination. Children 0-3 years old and older learn about the world through tactile sensations. That's why they try to touch everything, even taste it. Make different toys - soft and hard, rough. Experiment with sizes and shapes. Remember, even a one-month-old baby can develop by learning new subjects.

Sensory bags

Such DIY toys for the development of fine motor skills in children are suitable for children 0-3 years old and a little older. Outwardly, they look like soft fabric bags filled with a variety of materials. The child will touch them and discover hidden surprises inside.

Owl with a secret

A small bag - an owl, inside of which there are various materials.

What you will need:

  • felt fabric - multi-colored pieces (white - eyes, yellow - beak and the main color for the body);
  • ribbons;
  • threads;
  • needles;
  • tulle or other transparent fabric;
  • small materials (beads, stars, buttons);
  • finished pattern.

Manufacturing procedure:

  1. You can download ready-made didactic material or draw it yourself. The base is the body of an owl in the shape of an arch. When transferring the finished parts to the fabric, it is worth remembering that one side (back) will be closed, and the second (front) will have a small round hole through which the contents of the bag are clearly visible.
  2. Cut a circle slightly larger than the tulle hole. Carefully sew it to the front side piece (where the round hole was).
  3. Connect the main two parts by stitching with a machine. Just leave a small hole at the bottom through which you fill the bag with the collected small parts. There is no need to put a lot, it is better to collect different things: stars, buttons, beads.
  4. Once you've finished stuffing, close the hole. Now all that remains is to decorate the bag - cut out eyes from soft white felt, you can add pupils to them with a black marker, and a triangular beak from yellow felt. Decorate the owl's head with two bright ribbons. Such toys are also suitable for fine motor skills from one year onwards. They are safe because the contents cannot be removed.

Tactile bags

You can make several small fabric bags, filling them with various contents: cereals, beads, rice.

What you will need:

  • textile;
  • threads, needle;
  • scissors;
  • contents - cereals, rice, beads, beads.

Operating procedure:

  1. Cut out several small pillows and carefully stuff each one with cereal, just make sure the contents are different. For example, one will contain only rice, the other will contain oatmeal, etc.
  2. Sew an additional large fabric bag for them where you will store homemade toys.
  3. What to stuff with? There are many options: shells, rice, cotton wool, pebbles, beads. The main thing is that the objects are smooth and safe.

Baby sling beads and bracelets for babies

These toys are more suitable for babies to chew and feel. You can’t always trust the assortment in stores; there is no guarantee of the safety of the products. And at home you can make them yourself using step-by-step instructions.

These are the earliest toys that look like beads or bracelets. Mothers often wear them to distract the baby while he is in a sling or in his arms.

Important! This will require crocheting skills. The ability to tie objects (bracelets, beads) and knit individual elements (animal figures, soft balls).

What you will need:

  • wood beads;
  • cotton threads;
  • hooks;
  • waxed cord/ribbon (base);
  • filler (silicone fiber, cotton wool);
  • rustling or any rattling objects (if necessary).

Operating procedure:

Decide in advance whether it will be a small bracelet, full-fledged beads or a biting toy. The base is a wooden object.

Bracelet - toy

Option 1. Take a small wooden ring and carefully tie it so that the knitted fabric covers the entire surface. In a similar way, tie a small wooden bead - the “head” of the toy. Separately tie a pair of ears to it, decorate the muzzle. When finished, connect the parts.

Option 2. Here wooden balls alternate with soft, knitted ones. You can tie several wooden balls - beads or tie balls, stuffing them with cotton wool/foam rubber. Let soft balls alternate with ordinary wooden ones in the bracelet. Connect them by using a thick, cotton thread.

Option 3. A bracelet with different balls is complemented by a pair of wooden rings.

Option 4. Bracelet - hippo. Tie the wooden base bracelet with cotton thread, just tighter and secure the ends. Tie the 4 legs and head of the hippopotamus separately. Fill them with cotton wool or other soft filler.

Option 5. Multi-colored knitted balls are collected together, with a figurine of a small hippopotamus. Tie each ball separately. You can use multi-colored threads to make the toy brighter. When collecting ready-made balls, alternate them with small beads. Sew a knitted animal figurine in the center.

Sling beads are performed in a similar way, only they bigger size. Mom wears such a practical aid for the baby, at the same time a distracting thing.

Such toys are also suitable for one-year-old children, 1-2, even 1-3 years old. Over time, you can complicate the structure of the beads or bracelet by explaining to your child exactly what elements it consists of.

Lacing

Older children (3-4, also 4-5 years old) have already mastered the basics of finger motor skills; it’s time for them to learn the skill of tying shoelaces. Of course, most children's shoes are made with a convenient fastener or Velcro, but the baby still needs to be able to tie his own shoelaces.

The skill is best learned through practice. A lacing toy will help. You can see how the development of fine motor skills helps a child in life.

What you will need:

  • multi-colored felt;
  • laces (regular new ones);
  • cardboard - base;
  • buttons (or rather, special circles that cover the holes);
  • threads, needle;
  • scissors;
  • ready template.

Operating procedure:

Toy shape. If you are doing lacing for a younger child (2-4 years), then you can make any animal. For example, a snail or a dragon, which will have a lacing element. The texture of the product is fabric, soft. To make the toy interesting, you should choose the child’s favorite animal. If you like dinosaurs, make a dinosaur; if you like cats, make a cat. Adding a lacing element to any one is easy.

If the child is older (5-6 years old), it is better to make an example of shoes. Then he can practice tying shoelaces, threading them, tying bows, understanding where it is used.

Snail - lacing

Cut out all the details of the future snail: a round shell, a body, two circles for the eyes, additional details for the environment. The base will be a sheet of thick cardboard, covered with felt or other dense fabric on top. For convenience, glue the cardboard later.

First, sew the elements of the future snail onto the base fabric. To decorate her shell, stitch several times, making a seam in the shape of a decreasing spiral. When finished, hand sew on the beads through which you will then need to thread the lace.

All that remains is to sew on the remaining parts of the toy - the body, the eyes. The two laces will be the snail's horns. Make the craft bright and colorful to at the same time develop the child’s ability to distinguish colors (their names, names of objects). Add elements to the picture. Sunshine, grass, tree stump.

Lace-up sneakers

Download the sneaker template and transfer it to the fabric. Try to create realistic shoes. The bottom is dark felt, the toe is a semicircle of white fabric, the base is details made of green felt. The base is a square piece of fabric; you sew the toy parts to it.

When a baby grows up, he becomes increasingly interested in the adult world - he is interested in switches and sockets, all kinds of buttons and telephones, latches and locks. However, within the confines of an apartment, all these things often pose a danger - it turns out that over and over again we will forbid the baby to learn about the world, limiting his space to the territory of the playpen.

But the child’s thirst for knowledge is so great that he will try again and again to violate your prohibitions. And it is useless to fight this - it is better to legalize what cannot be prohibited.

What are the features of development boards

It is precisely in order to “legitimize” that development boards, busy boards, are created. They help develop fine motor skills, logic, and will stimulate the development of new tactile sensations and the thought process.

Interesting. A development board with locks was first proposed Maria Montessori- not only as a way to keep your baby occupied, but also as a tool for developing important everyday skills, imagination and intelligence. The Montessori method, which states that a child develops best during play, is still popular today.

You can add latches and keys, locks and latches, pictures and fabric to the board, decorate it with photographs and inscriptions, create “replacement sets” on one base so that your baby doesn’t get tired of the toy for a long time.

It is believed that a development board is optimal for activities with a child aged 10 months to two years, and the most complex designs can be used up to 5 years - it all depends on what will be on them.

The base is ordinary plywood

By the way, exercises with a development board are also finger gymnastics, and the mental development of the baby. It usually includes:

  • switches;
  • locks with keys;
  • latches and bolts;
  • flashlights and handsets, disks;
  • hooks;
  • abacus;
  • door chains;
  • beads;
  • fabric scraps;
  • pictures with numbers or animals.

Advice. To create a development board, you can use anything - anything that will spin, click, move and light up. You will bring everything that is of interest in the apartment onto one compact surface, and this will interest you and protect your baby from unpleasant consequences"free research".

How to make a traditional rigid structure

For a development board you will need a piece of plywood or wood, but plastic, hardboard, or cardboard will also work. As for the dimensions, they are chosen depending on the availability of free space.

You can make a busy board yourself

Information. The most compact development boards are small modules of 50x50 cm format, and for grandiose plans you can use a base up to 1.7 meters wide.

You can involve the whole family in creating a development board for your baby - dad will think of safe and practical fastenings, mom will do the design, older children can offer “filling”. By the way, to create a development board you don’t even have to go to the store - you’ll probably find all the necessary elements in closets and mezzanines.

If you don’t have suitable “treasures” at home, then you can turn to your grandparents, because they usually save old things that can be put to good use.

Attached to a homemade development board:

  • bolts, latches, latches, latches, hooks and padlocks (by the way, mailbox locks are the easiest to open with children's fingers);
  • switches and buttons - they can just click, or they can turn on something - for example, small bulbs from an old flashlight;
  • door chains, loops, hooks;
  • all kinds of toggle switches;
  • socket and plug (not connected to electricity, of course);
  • a battery-powered doorbell (choose a signal that suits you, because you will have to listen to it very often);
  • panels with buttons - for example, from an old remote control;
  • reels and laces - with their help you can create interesting lacing;
  • zippers and buttons;
  • watch dials;
  • rotary toggle switches.

Before you make a development board, you need to find a suitable base - the more different elements there are on the board, the more interesting toy will be for the baby.

However, do not forget to take into account the availability of free space, because the toy will need to be attached somewhere, and doing this with a bulky structure may be inconvenient.

Think about the arrangement of the elements, make pockets and doors, and then move on to the design stage. To decorate the development board, multi-colored fabrics that feel different to the touch, as well as colored cardboard, are suitable. You can use pictures with animals, numbers and letters.

You can hide cute pictures with cute animals, flowers, numbers behind the Velcro windows - and not only open/close, search and twist, but also learn the counting, names of animals, their habitats, primary colors and so on along the way.

It is important that the child will not lose interest in a well-thought-out development board for a very long time, and even if this happens, you can always come up with a different design.

Using a development board will help you keep your baby occupied for a long time - he will play with pleasure, each time doing the necessary exercises for his fingers, and explore the objective world.

And parents will be able to take part in the game or leave the baby alone with their new “field of activity.”

Soft fabric options

If you are creating a gaming panel for a very small child, then it is better to make it soft. It will be something like a developmental mat, only in a slightly different format.

Use an old pillow or thick fabric stretched over a frame as a base.

In this case, the game elements include: ribbons, buttons - a variety of shapes, colors and methods of fixation, loops and hooks, Velcro, pockets, appliqués and patterns, curtain rings and laces, small toys, rattles.

Everything you consider necessary should be securely sewn to the base. The brightest elements can be hidden behind fabric doors, and toys tied with braid can be placed in pockets. You can make lacing, abacus from rings - everything is limited solely by your imagination.

Safety rules when using the toy

Even if the baby always plays under supervision, the toy must be completely safe. To do this you need to follow the following rules:

  1. The board must be firmly fixed - to the wall, to the floor, to furniture, to something that the child cannot move or drop. Follow this rule - and you will have a little time for yourself while your baby plays enthusiastically.
  2. You can use any material as a base - from plywood to an old cabinet door, but be sure to check that there are no splinters around the perimeter and on the front.
  3. If there are sharp corners or “problem” or traumatic areas on the surface, it is better to cover them with something soft to prevent impacts.
  4. Don’t forget that small fingers are very tenacious, and they can easily unscrew some small part and put it in your mouth. Check the reliability of the fastenings carefully and several times.

    Who said that a doll can only be a girl? Doll “Stasik” (Naive World) – cute soft toy with clasps. There are many different fasteners on his clothes, and he also has small pocket, where you can put all sorts of necessary little things. Of course, your child will help Stasik dress and undress, which will make his fingers dexterous and skillful.

    Often, when a child learns to dress and undress himself, he has problems with fasteners, buckles and ties. We are sure that after communicating with Stasik, your child will easily learn to dress and put on shoes on their own.

    The doll is made of non-toxic fabrics and materials that do not pose a risk to your child's health. If it gets dirty, it can be washed in the gentle wash mode.

    What does a toy with fasteners develop?

    It has long been known that fine motor skills are directly related to speech and affect not only its development, but also the prevention and elimination of defects. In addition, it directly affects the child’s ability to learn: the smarter the hands, the smarter the baby.

    The appearance of the toy may differ from the photo.
