All collections of kinder surprises for years. How to choose the right kinder surprise with a collectible toy? Selecting a serial toy based on certain parameters

"Kinder Surprise" is a chocolate treat that has been delighting children and adults for many years not only with its delicate taste, but also with the secret it contains. To create even more interest, various series of toys appear from time to time. Usually these are heroes of popular cartoons. They look so bright and attractive that a real hunt begins for them.

Often the excitement of adults is not inferior to that of children. Not only do you want to collect a complete collection of certain figures for your own pleasure, there is a desire to do it faster than others. Such an achievement can be a reason for pride, since not everyone succeeds. But how to choose a Kinder Surprise with a serial toy?

Search for serial figures by letter

Of course, you can buy boxes of Kinder Surprises in the hope that in this way you will be able to find all the figures from the desired collection. But this is a rather wasteful method.

In addition, the question will arise of what to do with toys that are not from the collection, which are a pity to throw away, but there is nowhere to store them. And eating so many chocolate eggs themselves is quite problematic. But if the box has already been opened or the remains of Kinder Surprises from different boxes have been combined, such an attempt to assemble a collection does not guarantee success.

Therefore, all people who are interested in this topic are looking for various secrets on how to choose the necessary ones among hundreds of eggs. Collectors know how to select a Kinder Surprise with a serial toy using a barcode.

You need to look at the letters printed underneath it on the orange part of the package next to the expiration date. If there are two letters, then the probability that it contains the coveted figurine is almost one hundred percent. And when there are three or one letters, then there is definitely no collectible toy there. The alphabetic code may vary. For example, the letters HK stand for the Hello Kitty collection.

Are the labels always correct?

As the practical application of the method of searching for chocolate eggs with serial toys using letter coding shows, it does not always work. How to choose a "Kinder Surprise" with a serial toy by letter? "Fixies", for example, have an encoding of two letters and a number. It is not possible to find any pattern in their combination. In addition, even proven letter combinations do not always meet customer expectations.

Other ways to choose a Kinder Surprise with a collectible figurine: intuition

Exists a large number of advice from collectors on the topic: how to choose a “Kinder surprise” with a serial toy. For example, if your sixth sense is well developed, then you can trust your intuition and choose the egg that you like the most. You might get lucky, although the probability is quite low.

Selecting a "Kinder Surprise" with a collectible figurine by weight

For another method you will need scales. It is known that Kinder Surprise, containing a collectible figurine, weighs with other toys. Approximate weight is 32-34 grams. If you can’t weigh it, you can simply choose the heaviest chocolate egg.

Selection of "Kinder Surprise" with a collectible figurine by sound

How to choose a Kinder Surprise with a serial toy? The most obvious way is to determine by ear. The egg must be shaken. If you can hear several parts rattling in it, then there is a non-collectible toy there. There may be puzzles, cars, construction sets. If you hear that there is only one object there or there are no sounds at all, then the likelihood of finding the desired toy in it greatly increases.

What does the packaging say?

In order to look for toys of a certain series, you need to pay attention to the packaging of the chocolate egg itself. On the wrapper there is a picture of the series to which it belongs, for example “Fixies” or “Disney Princesses”.

Not everyone is an ardent fan of Kinder Surprises and is faced with purchasing them only when the children are already old enough and ask to buy them. Of course, you want the surprise hidden in it to please the baby, especially if there is a series with your favorite cartoon characters on sale. When they come to make a purchase and don’t know how to choose a “Kinder Surprise” with a serial toy “Masha and the Bear” or “Pony”, parents are guided by the image on the wrapper.

But the fact that it depicts the necessary heroes does not mean at all that each egg contains figures from the main series. The image simply says that there cannot be any other series here. Therefore, you should not look for Fixies in Kinder Surprises with the image of Hello Kitty.

What does the capsule inside Kinder Surprise say?

To prevent the toy or its components from dangling inside the Kinder Surprise, their manufacturer packs them in Plastic container, the color of which is yellow, like a real egg yolk.

But there are two shades of this color used for toys. Some may think that such a difference is random and does not mean anything. This is wrong. The toys from the main series that everyone is looking for are packaged in a dark yellow (orange) capsule. If there is something else in the box, the container is painted light yellow.

Therefore, as soon as the Kinder Surprise chocolate is broken, you can already judge by the color of the inner plastic capsule whether you managed to find the desired serial figure or not. Naturally, this method will not be able to tell you how to choose a “Kinder Surprise” with a serial toy, for example. After all, the store will not allow you to unpack chocolate eggs until you pay for them. But having opened it after purchase, you can already know for sure how much the surprise hidden there will please you.

The surest way to choose the right Kinder Surprise

Some people buy chocolate eggs to please their child. Not always your own. They are purchased when visiting a house where there are children, or on occasion children's party as a treat for little guests. Therefore, many are not at all interested in what is hidden inside the Kinder Surprise.

If the internal content is important, then you will have to spend some time choosing the right Kinder Surprise. To increase your chances, you need to know how to choose “Kinder Surprise” with serial or “Masha and the Bear”. You will have to use all known methods: by letters, by weight, by sound.

To date, the method of finding a serial figurine inside an egg by letter is groundless, since, for example, the My Little Pony series does not have a known DF encoding. Completely different letters and numbers are used there. Users said that they were looking for ways to choose a sweet egg with a serial toy by letter. But no pattern could be identified.

The weight of a chocolate egg with a serial figurine inside is several grams more than those containing other surprises. If it is possible to use scales, then you need to focus on those specimens that are approximately equal to or greater than 32 grams. If it is not possible to use a measuring device to determine weight, then you should try to choose the one that seems heavier than the others.

The third way is by sound. You need to shake the egg and listen to how the toy hidden inside rattles. If you hear that there are a lot of details, then this “Kinder Surprise” does not contain a figure from the main series. The serial toy is tightly pressed to the packaging and either does not make any sounds or rattles as a single object. Everything seems to be logical, but there are exceptions. It happens that some serial figures consist of several parts. And toys from the “Fixies” series, for example, rattle loudly.

How to choose a Kinder Surprise with a serial toy? No method guarantees one hundred percent results. Therefore, it is necessary to use all known methods. And in case of doubt, you will have to trust your intuition.

Good day, dear readers of the Nostalgia for the Nineties blogs. Who among you didn't love Kinder Surprise? I think such people are unlikely to be found and therefore the topic of today’s article will be about this delicacy. The history of its creation, a few facts that you probably didn’t know, and of course a photo selection of Kinder Surprise toys from the nineties.

Let's start, of course, with the creation of this miracle and the conqueror of all our children's hearts in the nineties.

In the children's toy market, Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs are a special case. Here there is joy, and surprise, and a toy, and chocolate. 107 joys in one. Moreover, not only children, but also adults are interested in these toys. This is an excellent material for an unusual collection that can be replenished throughout your life.

From an Italian bakery to a global confectionery company

There would be no toys, no collections and no “Kinder surprises” if a small family bakery had not initially opened in Turin, Italy. Here, rolls, long loaves, and flat cakes were quietly and peacefully baked. And in 1930, the store was inherited from father to son Pietro Ferrero. It was at this moment that the story of a toy that had never even existed began.

Senor Ferrero was famous among his neighbors for his light, cheerful character, optimism and rare resourcefulness. He loved soft rolls, but his imagination extended far beyond baking sheets with loaves of bread. He was a great experimenter by nature and his research activities concerned unique recipes for sweet dishes. So very soon the ordinary bakery turned into a full-fledged pastry shop, where Pietro “worked magic” together with his wife Piera.

Truth, Second World War forced the couple to move from their hometown to the north. But even there, sweet dreams haunted the Ferrero family, and already in 1942 the couple again opened a confectionery store, which a few years later was transformed into a confectionery factory. Here, in Alba, the Ferrero spouses expected great success, and very soon the sweet products of confectioners spread throughout the world.

Let's now meet the heir to the confectionery empire Ferrero Michele. Son Pietro I hated milk as a child, like most of his friends. Therefore, having joined the family business, he immediately thought about all those kids who, like him, were not fans of cow's milk. Michele decided to release chocolate with a high milk content so that the child could get all the beneficial substances that are in milk, and at the same time, it would be tasty for him. Michele called this series of chocolate “Kinder”.

It would be a lie to say that the idea of a sweet with a surprise belongs to the Ferrero family. In our country before the war, the so-called chocolate bombs, inside of which were hidden tiny nesting dolls, hearts, jugs and other small things for kids. And in Italy itself there has been a pleasant tradition since ancient times. Parents baked egg-shaped cakes for their children for Easter and hid little surprises or coins inside.

Michele Ferrero decided to combine his children's chocolate and this fun tradition, and this is how Kinder Surprise came about. It was decided to make the capsule for the toy in the form of a real yellow egg yolk. But the idea of a tiny toy, produced in series, was proposed by Swiss designer Henry Roth.

Kinder mania

In 1974, the first batch of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs rolled off the assembly line, hit store shelves and... sold out in just one hour. Already after this name, many adults and children turned into real maniacal collectors buying eggs.

Some toys from Kinder Surprises are hand-painted, which is why they are valuable and have no analogues. So collectors are willing to pay up to 500 US dollars for some copies. And some rare toys are valued at 1000 euros. In 2007, a collection of 90 thousand Kinder toys was sold on eBay for 30,000 euros.

imitators

Many people are trying to imitate the success of confectioner Ferrero. The founder of the Landrin chocolate brand, Igor Markitantov, was the first in Russia to launch his “own” chocolate eggs for sale. He began his activities in the chocolate field with the sale of original Kinder Surprises. And when an enterprising young man decided to open his own business, he released domestic chocolate eggs “Chudiki” into Russian stores. True, initially the eggs were purchased in Italy, and the toys were made in China. But the characters for the toy series were the most like ours, heroes of domestic cartoons (“Well, wait a minute!”, “Winnie the Pooh”, “Prostokvashino”, “The Kid and Carlson”...).

Kinder facts

All children's chocolate products are sold under the name "Kinder". Therefore, in every country, the first word of the name of a chocolate egg is authentic – “Kinder”. And the second word is translated into the national language. That’s why in Russia the egg is called “Kinder Surprise”, in Norway and Sweden it is called Kinderoverraskelse, in Brazil and Portugal – Kinder Surpresa, in Spain – Kinder Sorpresa.

In hot countries, a chocolate egg would certainly melt before reaching the store. So for them, Ferrero is releasing a variation on the theme of an egg with a surprise - Kinder Joy. A plastic egg, in one half of the egg there is chocolate with a spoon, in the other there is a toy.

Kinder Surprises are not sold in the USA. And all because since 1938 it has been prohibited to put foreign objects into food products.

A Kinder egg weighs 35 grams including the toy.

In Kinder Surprise, the milk content reaches 32%.

Within 30 years from the date of production, Ferrero sold 30 billion chocolate surprises.

In Belgium, enterprising butcher Fontaine has released a surprise sausage egg. Mr. Fontaine motivated his action by the fact that a salami egg turns out to be much larger than a chocolate one, and a larger toy can be hidden in it.

And as always, a bonus Gallery of Kinder Surprises from the nineties.
