Schemes of volumetric paper snowflakes and instructions for making. Volumetric paper snowflake Volumetric snowflakes in the interior

Good day to all!

The most wonderful holiday is approaching - New Year. Many are preparing for it for a month. Say something too early? However, it is never too early to acquire jewelry, and even vice versa. Especially if you decide to make some decorations with your own hands, for example. What can be interesting to do. First of all, it is, of course, snowflakes. What are we making them from? From paper.

In this article we will try to make paper snowflakes, as well.

It is quite easy to make snowflakes out of paper. You need paper and scissors. We take paper, fold it several times to make a triangle. Like this:

Now it remains only to cut out the patterns. Draw the desired pattern along the edges of the triangle and cut it out. After that, we unfold the paper and get a beautiful patterned snowflake.

From what pattern you draw, this will be the snowflake. There is no limit to the imagination here. You can cut, for example, such a snowflake:

Or like this one:

In addition to ordinary snowflakes, you can make a three-dimensional one. Here the production scheme is somewhat different.

If we make a snowflake of six rays, we will need six sheets of paper, if we make an eight-ray snowflake - eight, etc. On each sheet of paper, cut out a square measuring 10x10 cm or more. The larger the size of the sides of the square of the blank, the larger the snowflake itself will be, respectively. Now, at some distance from each other, draw parallel lines to make several squares inside a sheet of paper. Approximately as in the diagram.

The next step is to take scissors and make cuts along the drawn lines (red). We do not cut it out, but we only cut it so that these squares are fixed from two opposite corners.

Next, take the central square (shown by an arrow in the figure) and fold its edges into a tube, towards the center. Glue the ends. Then turn the sheet over and reverse side do the same operation with another strip. Then we turn over and fold the tube again, and so as many times as you have drawn squares.

In the same way we make all the other blanks. After that, we fasten them together and, as a result, we get a snowflake.

We cut out snowflakes from paper according to patterns that can be printed

You can cut snowflakes not only by folding paper. You can pick up special templates, print, and then cut out your craft using them.

Another fairly simple option.

And this snowflake template is a little more complicated.

If you bend a sheet of paper, but have no idea what drawing to draw, what would it turn out beautiful pattern so here are some templates.

Or, for example, like this.

This template is a bit complicated, but the result is a beautiful snowflake.

Several templates at once, some of them are simple, some are somewhat more complicated. However, patience and perseverance will help create a masterpiece. And, of course, children, how to cut snowflakes without them.

And a few more templates

Also beautiful, even somewhat openwork patterns.

Here are some great templates you can use.

Schemes for cutting beautiful snowflakes

In this section, you can see some patterns for making snowflakes, according to which you can cut out beautiful crafts.

Another example is how to fold a sheet of paper and cut out a snowflake.

This diagram shows how to cut out unnecessary parts of the paper (shown in color) to get a beautiful pattern.

Variant of the snowflake scheme with hearts.

And look at this diagram, quite interesting and original drawings.

And according to this scheme, we make a snowflake not only from a square sheet of paper, but also a round one.

Here are some wonderful schemes to choose for manufacturing.

Simple snowflake patterns for beginners in origami technique

Origami is the manufacture of paper crafts without cutting. Snowflakes can also be made using this technique. Here are some diagrams.

In this version, scissors are used, but only to make cuts.

You can make such a snowflake out of paper:

To do this, use the following diagram:

In this version, you make a snowflake from prepared modules.

Then from them we collect the snowflake itself.

Try another scheme by which you can fold a snowflake.

It was all snowflakes, shall we say, in 2-D format. But voluminous snowflakes are also popular.

How to make 3D volumetric paper snowflakes with your own hands step by step video master class

Volumetric snowflakes look, of course, more beautiful and original. And if they are also made in a large size, then they will look quite impressive.

And here, watch the video, which clearly tells about the manufacture of such a snowflake:

And also in our new article!

We make snowflakes from paper strips with our own hands

Volumetric snowflakes can be made using colored strips of paper. For example, you can do something like this:

For this we take colored paper(colors can be any, to choose from). We cut strips 29 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. We cut about 20 strips.

Now we put strips in the form of a cross, 4-5 pieces, alternating colors. We put them intertwining with each other.

First, we glue the most extreme strips with each other (they are yellow in the figure) we should get something like an auto-decoupling on the map.

The remaining strips (white in the figure) are glued to the corners of the opposite yellow petals. As a result, we get a snowflake, as in the sample at the very beginning of the description.

An easy way to make 3D snowflakes step by step

Volumetric, or 3-D snowflakes look a little better than simple ones. Let's try to do this.

Take a square sheet of paper and fold it several times until you get a triangle. You need to make six such triangles. And they should all be the same. Now, on each triangle we draw parallel lines at a distance of about 1 cm. The number of such lines depends on the size of the triangle and there can be three or more of them. Now we cut through these strips from one edge to the other, but, of course, not to the very end.

We turn the triangle back into a square and fold its central part and glue it together.

We turn the square over with the other side and glue the next notched square in the same way.

Flip and repeat. And so on until we glue all the cut strips. A similar procedure is carried out with all blanks. After that, we fasten together first three figures, then the remaining three.

As a result, we get such a snowflake.

or such.

Its size depends on the paper size. This craft requires a little more time and more painstaking work compared to simple snowflakes. But the result is worth it.

The snowflakes in this video are also made very simply, but they look quite impressive.

Stock up on beautiful colored paper and cardboard and create your masterpieces.

Quilling snowflake master class for beginners (video)

Quilling is a technique for making paper crafts that are cut into strips and rolled. After that, all these twisted blanks are connected and we get the intended craft. For example, such wonderful snowflakes.

A new video on how to make beautiful voluminous openwork snowflakes:

Snowball from strips of paper

Plain white paper can be a great material for making Christmas snowflakes. For example, many thin strips can be cut out of it, which will become the basis for the snowflake shown in this master class.

For such a snowflake, we will prepare:

We will make a snowflake from thin strips of paper of various lengths. Therefore, first we cut them, the thickness of all strips is the same and is 0.5 cm. And the length will be different. We will need 6 strips 20 cm long, 12 - 16 cm, 12 - 12 cm and 10 strips 10 cm long.

For one ray, we need the following blanks - 1 strip 20 cm long and 2 pieces each 16, 12 and 10 cm long.

We take the longest strip and glue its ends.

Then we fix a strip 16 cm long from the edge, forming a kind of loop out of it.

On the right we fix a strip of the same length.

The next will be strips having a length of 12 cm, we glue them on the sides symmetrically.
Finally, we fix the remaining strips 10 cm long. This is how we made the first ray.

We need to glue narrow strips 5 more rays.

For the center of the snowflake, cut out a small circle from cardboard. We glue the first rays on it, placing them opposite each other.

Then glue a couple of rays on top at the same distance from each other.

We fix the remaining blanks. Such a snowflake from thin strips turned out. We decided to decorate its center decorative rhinestone.

Snowflakes from openwork napkins

Paper lace napkins can be an excellent material for creating New Year's crafts. After all, you can make a variety of snowflakes from them. 2 MK on openwork snowflakes from Marina.

One of the ways to create such New Year's decor we show in this new 2019 master class.

First, fold the white openwork napkin in half. Then cut along the marked fold line with scissors. Next, each half needs to be cut in half. As a result, we got an openwork napkin, cut into 4 equal parts.

Now from these quarters we will make rays for the future snowflake. To do this, first fold the workpiece in half, outlining the fold line.

Focusing on this line, we bend the half of the openwork part.

Then we symmetrically bend the second openwork half.

By bending both sides, we get a blank for the first ray of a snowflake.

This is how it looks from the front.

We continue on the same principle to make other rays.

And so we continue to work.

In order to get a snowflake, we needed 10 rays. If desired, the center can be decorated with a shiny rhinestone. Such a New Year's snowflake from openwork napkins we got it.

Now we propose to make a convex round snowflake from openwork napkins according to the 2018 master class. Very light and beautiful, suitable for children, see detailed instructions.

To create such a snowflake, we prepared:

    • openwork napkins (6 pieces are enough);
    • scissors;
    • glue;
    • decorative rhinestone for the middle.

We will make the snowflake itself from peculiar little bags. To create them, we first need to bend the openwork napkin in half. After that, cut it with scissors along the fold line.

Then fold each half in half again and cut. As a result, from one napkin we get 4 blanks.

Now we will use glue and connect the edges of this blank so that we get a bag.

In total, our snowflake will require 12 such bags.

We take another napkin, it will serve as the basis for our snowflake. On it we first glue 2 bags opposite each other.

Then we fix 2 more blanks in the other direction.

After that, we evenly distribute the remaining bags and glue them on an openwork napkin.

For the middle of the snowflake, we will use other blanks. To create them, it is enough to cut the napkin in half.

After that, we immediately make bags from the halves of openwork napkins.

In total, we make 4 such blanks.

We begin to glue them in the middle of the snowflake.

We evenly fix all 4 bags.

And we decorate the middle with a decorative rhinestone. Our snowflake from openwork napkins is ready.

Lush volumetric snowflake

With 3 squares of paper, we can make Christmas snowflake shown in this master class by Marina.

To create it, let's take:

  • 3 squares of blue paper;
  • PVA glue;
  • decorative rhinestone.

Our craft consists of three elements, each of which will require one square blank. Let's start working on the creation of the first element. To do this, on the first blue square, we outline the transverse folds.

After that, fold the side edges of the square to the middle line.

Now let's fold the other sides.

We unfold one side as follows, give it the appearance of a trapezoid.

We do the same on the other side.

Now the corners of the resulting workpiece must be carefully straightened so that they become square.

We do this with all four corners.

In place of these squares, we make folds on both sides.

Next, we will straighten these folds, and give the workpiece itself the appearance of an elongated rhombus.

We must make such rhombuses from all four corners.

The resulting rhombuses need to be narrowed a little more, for this we perform folds on the sides.

This form was acquired by the workpiece after bending.

It remains to fold it as follows. To do this, turn the workpiece over to the other side and make folds along the transverse folds.

This is what it looks like from the other side.

From the remaining two squares we make similar blanks, after which we glue them together.

And in the center of the craft we place a decorative rhinestone. Such a voluminous snowflake turned out.

Snowflake curlicues

Basic elements are formed from simple strips of paper, which can be glued in any order. The number of options for such snowflakes tends to infinity, as in nature 🙂

Simple snowflake in the technique of false quilling

Our master class on creating an openwork snowflake using the "false quilling" technique will help you make a decoration from strips of paper with minimal cost time and materials.

For the creative process, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • a sheet of white (or double-sided blue, silver) A4 paper;
  • simple pencil;
  • ruler;
  • eraser;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

How to make an openwork snowflake using the unusual technique of "false quilling"

The snowflake will consist of three types of elements, for the creation of which you will need strips 1 cm wide. Each type of element must consist of six parts, so we need to draw a sheet of 18 stripes. The first 6 strips should take the length of the entire sheet. Draw the next 6 strips perpendicular to the first. Draw the third type of stripes under the long ones, starting from perpendicular stripes.

Cut out strips of paper and fold them into three rows, depending on their length. In places where lines from a simple pencil are very visible, use an eraser.

To make it more convenient to work with the strips - wind them around the pencil and remove. Unlike the "" technique, our task is somewhat simplified, since we will not work with dense curls, but with their likeness.

Take a strip from the "short" row. To wrap the strip in a ring, wind it around your finger, close the edges and glue. Make the next turn a little weaker and glue again at the base. Do the third turn in this way. Cut off excess paper with scissors.

Do this with the other five short strips, making sure they are the same size.

Make exactly the same curls-rings with stripes from the middle row.

Bend the longest of the strips in half.

Wrap each end tightly onto a pencil and carefully remove the ring - you will get such double curls.

Press the smallest curl rings on both sides with your fingers, giving them an almond shape.

Press the middle ring-curls from the ends to the center to get a figure of a four-pointed star (rhombus).

Let's start collecting snowflakes. Connect the six almond-shaped parts together with glue. You will get a semblance of a flower.

Glue double curls between the "petals".

For convenience, glue double curls through one petal.

Then glue the remaining double curls.

Glue the "stars" at the junction of the double curls.

That's all, the voluminous openwork snowflake is ready!

Look how twisted, like lace!
Thanks to the three-dimensional elements, it is easier to fold such a snowflake than when creating a quilling figure. Small children can also cope with such creative work, if they are shown everything and help, if necessary. Older children will figure out the intricacies of work on their own. You can also come up with other elements and make a few snowflakes to decorate a festive spruce or interior. The main thing is desire, and everything will work out for you!

Snowflake from paper squares

What to prepare to create a snowflake from paper squares:

  • squares 8 * 8 cm, cut out of decorative double-sided colored paper (scrape paper);
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • glue;
  • rhinestones, sequins, sequins.

How to fold unusual snowflakes from ordinary paper squares

To work, you need two squares of the same size. If you want to make small snowflakes use small squares and vice versa.

Cut out squares of the desired size from decorative paper. It is best to use paper that has a pattern on one side and a base color on the other, then the snowflake will look original.

Fold the squares in half twice.

Straighten the squares, the main lines will appear on them.

Bend the edges to the midline, pressing the folds with your finger.

Do exactly the same on the other side. When you straighten the squares, you will see that a marking of small squares has appeared on them.

Cut with scissors along the central folds to the length of one square.

Bend the corners at each end as shown.

Glue the corners so that the patterned side is on top.

Glue one part of the snowflake to the other so that the rays do not overlap each other.

Decorate the resulting snowflake with self-adhesive rhinestones, or stick glitter with glue.

A beautiful curly snowflake made of squares is ready!

So, with very little effort, we got an unusual snowflake. Such beauty was created from two squares, which is unbelievable! You made sure that children can cope with such work, which means you can make many wonderful snowflakes and decorate them with rooms, gifts for loved ones and relatives, a festive fir tree or a Christmas wreath. And if you connect several snowflakes, you can make a garland, pendants or crown decoration for the holiday.

Volumetric snowflake from foamiran

How to make a brilliant volumetric snowflake, our regular author Marina will show in her new master class.

Snowflakes can be made from various materials. In this master class, we propose to make such a craft for the New Year 2019 from shiny foamiran. But you can also choose colored paper, there is only one folding technology.

To make such a snowflake, we prepared:

  • shiny (glitter) foamiran blue and silver;
  • scissors;
  • toothpick;
  • sharp knife;
  • ruler;
  • glue gun.

Step-by-step instruction

We decided that our snowflake would be two-color, so we use foamiran in two colors - blue and silver. If desired, this craft can be done in any one color. The snowflake will consist of separate elements - rectangles. First, we cut out 3 rectangles 2.5x14 cm in size from blue foamiran.

Now on each rectangle you need to make certain cuts. But first, let's use a ruler and a toothpick. From the wrong side, set aside 1 cm along the edges, draw small vertical lines with a toothpick. After that, the central part must be divided into 5 equal strips, the width of each of them will be 5 mm.

Next, you need a sharp clerical knife. With its help, along the ruler, we carefully make cuts along the marked lines, not reaching 1 cm from each edge. This is best done with something solid underneath (such as a cutting board).

This is how our blue rectangle with cuts looks like, see photo:

Similarly, we prepare other blanks. In total, 3 blue and 3 silver blanks will be used for our snowflake.

Now you can start creating the openwork rays of our snowflake. To do this, take one rectangle, carefully fold it in half, combining the edges.

By the same principle, using a glue gun, we create the rest of the shiny rays. There will be 6 of them in total.

For the base of the snowflake, cut out a small circle of silver foamiran. Glue the first blue ray on its wrong side.

The second (silver) ray is placed opposite the first.

Now between them with the help of hot glue we fix the blue and silver rays.

On the other hand, we also glue a couple of rays.

It remains to draw the middle of our snowflake. To do this, cut out a small circle from silver foamiran and glue it.

Our voluminous snowflake made of shiny foamiran is ready.

Snowflake from cardboard sleeves

New Year's decor can be created even from improvised materials. An example would be a simple interesting snowflake, made of cardboard sleeves, and the detailed process of its creation is shown in Marina's master class. Such crafts can be done with children at home or in middle and older groups of kindergarten.

To make such a snowflake, we prepared:

  • cardboard sleeves from toilet paper or paper towels;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • brush;
  • PVA glue;
  • sequins;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors.

The first step is to make blanks for the future snowflake. We flatten the cardboard blank, and then make markings at a distance of 1 cm.

Then we need a glue gun, warm it up. He will help us connect 6 cardboard elements in a circle. This will be the base of our snowflake.

To create other snowflake elements, we need to fold the cardboard strip in half.

In this way, we add the 12 remaining elements.

You should get 6 such blanks for a snowflake.

We begin to glue these blanks inside. We do this with a glue gun.

This is what our snowflake looks like at this stage.

It remains to decorate it and apply sparkles. To do this, first you need to coat the upper part of the craft with PVA glue, it is more convenient to do this with a brush.

Then sprinkle glitter on a sheet of paper.

We put a snowflake on this sheet with a smeared side down. If necessary, glitter can be sprinkled on separate places. We got such a snowflake from a cardboard sleeve.

Helpful Hints

Many have already learned how to make paper snowflakes.

Such snowflakes can decorate windows, a house and a Christmas tree, while snowflakes can be of various colors and sizes.

But there are difficult snowflakes that look very beautiful and are made a little differently.

Some of these original snowflakes are not easy to make, but if you succeed, you will see that your efforts were not in vain, as complex snowflakes are sometimes very beautiful and unusual.

Unusual snowflakes for the New Year: a simple volumetric snowflake

You will need:

Paper of any color

Scissors

Glue (if necessary)

stapler.

1. Prepare 6 paper squares.

* If the snowflake is small, use plain paper, and if it is large, use thick paper or cardboard.

2. Each square must be folded in half diagonally.

3. Put the resulting triangle in front of you, draw the stripes with a pencil and a ruler as shown in the image (not reaching the fold) and make a few cuts along the lines.

4. Lay out the square and bend the first row of strips into tubes. You can fix them with glue or a stapler.

5. Turn over the square and fold the second row.

6. Repeat this process (remembering to rotate the square) until all strips are folded into tubes.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 for the rest of the squares.

8. Using a stapler, first connect 3 blanks into one half of a three-dimensional snowflake, and then 3 more. After that, connect both halves. You need to connect in places where the workpieces are in contact.

* Stripes can be made wavy, then the snowflake will turn out even more original.

4. Use a protractor to make marks every 18 degrees.

5. Starting on the open side, fold the top layer along the markings, maneuvering between the mountain fold and the valley fold. Should be an accordion.

6. Turn the figure over so that the harmonica is on the bottom. Fold the end of the figure in the same way as in step 5, using the already folded accordion as a template.

7. Press down the entire structure well.

8. Use scissors to cut off the top and some of the bottom of the folded harmonica.

9. Cut off a small triangle as shown in the picture.

10. Expand the shape and you should have a very unusual and beautiful snowflake.

Complicated snowflakes with Doctor Who characters

You will need:

Pencil and eraser

Scissors

Stationery knife.

1. Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half diagonally. Next, fold the resulting triangle again and then again.

2. Draw one of the suggested patterns on the side and carefully cut it out.

* Use a utility knife to cut out the inner parts of the workpiece.

* Since everything that will be drawn will be mirrored on the other side of the paper, it is worth drawing only half of the drawing (half of the face or building).

* Cutting small parts is not easy, so be patient and carefully cut the paper with a utility knife or scalpel.

A few more options:

New Year's Eve is one of the few holidays when you can show your imagination - and create thematic interior decoration with the help of many crafts made by yourself.

Even from the simplest materials, for example, from paper, many interesting schemes can be implemented.

We suggest starting with a traditional decoration for winter holidays- snowflakes. To make it look more elegant and identify the celebration of the New Year, it is better to spend a little more time and make a voluminous figurine.

Check out the most popular patterns on how to make a voluminous paper snowflake with your own hands, and also watch video tutorials for a detailed description.

Large multi-colored snowflake

The most common option for making a large voluminous snowflake out of paper involves using a whole sheet of paper. From it you will get one of the branches of the snowflake, so take several sheets at once.

To create voluminous snowflakes from A4 paper, first you need to cut out square-shaped blanks from this material. We need six identical squares. In this case, the diagonal of the square will be equal to the radius of the beautiful snowflake, which will turn out in the end: already at the stage of cutting out the blanks, plan the optimal size of your craft.

Except paper sheets, you will need scissors, a pencil to create sketches in some places, a ruler, a stapler and glue. If desired, you can also take threads so that after completion of work, large paper snowflakes can be hung on windows or under the ceiling.

Advice: it is better to make voluminous snowflakes from colored paper, alternating different shades in one figure or by making several multi-colored decorations of the same size at once.

How to make a paper snowflake step by step

As you can see, creating a bright decoration for the interior is not difficult at all: figure out how to cut a voluminous snowflake out of paper and how to wrap its individual parts - and it will take you only a few minutes to complete the work. A simple three-dimensional snowflake made using this method is shown in the photo below.

Another simple way is in the video on making 3D paper snowflakes:

Cut out snowflakes according to the schemes

If you want to make decorations with your children, use the templates for cutting out voluminous snowflakes. On the Internet you will find many interesting patterns of paper snowflakes for the New Year.

To make the craft three-dimensional, you can perform various manipulations, for example, glue several identical blanks in the center or connect some edges of the cut out fragments.

The following schemes and patterns of paper snowflakes can help you:

Another way to get homemade snowflakes involves harvesting several identical figures of different sizes. They overlap each other and are fixed with glue. We will decorate such a snowflake by creating cuts along the edges for even greater splendor.

More details - in the video, how to make a voluminous snowflake out of paper in stages:

The master class of voluminous snowflakes using the accordion technique deserves special attention. You need to fold the sheet into an accordion - and draw the contours of the future snowflake on one of the sides.

Advice: if it is inconvenient for you to fold the template several times, you can make a blank of half or a quarter of a snowflake - and at the end glue the parts of the accordion together.

If you correctly sketch and cut out the figures, you will get light openwork snowflakes like those in the following example.

We glue a snowflake from paper strips

Let's look at a step-by-step diagram of a three-dimensional snowflake made from blanks in the form of thin multi-colored stripes. By the way, for this master class, both ordinary sheets of paper and special paper for quilling are suitable. Additionally, we will use glue, brushes and clothespins.

How to make snowflakes from strips of paper:

The voluminous star-snowflake made of paper is ready, and you can start decorating the interior for the holiday.

A detailed diagram is in the video about do-it-yourself voluminous paper snowflakes:

Layered "flower" snowflake

For a change, you can complement the traditional decorations for the New Year with homemade snowflakes that resemble flowers. For a step-by-step technique for volumetric snowflakes of this type, you will need an A4 sheet, a pencil with an eraser, glue and scissors.

Let's look at the process of creating such a paper snowflake in detail.

Fold the paper diagonally in two. Cut off the part that will go beyond the resulting triangle. Now fold the sheet again - and cut the side of the triangle without folds so that you get two petals.

Advice: draw the borders for cutting with a simple pencil so that you can immediately see the bumps and correct the shape.

Cut off any excess, and also wipe off pencil marks if they remain on the borders. Similar contours should be made on the petals several times - and not cut completely.

After unfolding the triangle, it remains to fold correctly individual elements snowflakes. The end of the middle part of the craft should be fastened to the center. The remaining petals are glued in the same way.

Such a snowflake for the New Year will be a worthy addition to the festive decor. And if you want it to come out even more spectacular, glue other elements on top of the workpiece or connect such a snowflake with a similar one in the center.

Openwork snowflake quilling

Unusual paper snowflakes can be obtained by sequentially gluing twisted fragments using the quilling technique. We recommend using thin paper as these strips will be easier to roll into the desired shape.

An openwork paper snowflake made with your own hands will look no worse than ready-made store decorations. In addition, you can choose the color of such a snowflake to your taste and give it a wide variety of shapes.

As such, there is no scheme for cutting a snowflake in this case. All you need is to cut strips 2 cm wide and 15-25 cm long. Twist them - and, if necessary, glue them to keep the shape. Such blanks can be given the appearance of a circle, a drop, a rhombus, and many others.

You can attach the edges with a clothespin so that the pointed corners of the elements are preserved until the glue dries.

When all the details are ready, assemble the snowflake by gluing them together. It is better to start from the center: place a larger circle here - and form “branches” of the snowflake from several sides. After the finished paper craft has dried, you can treat the material with sparkles, decorate with ribbons, or attach a loop for hanging snowflakes on a Christmas tree.

Fast snowflake with decorations

And the next way, how to make a New Year's voluminous paper snowflake, is suitable for those who do not have much time to create decorations. We will use paper, scissors, glue, as well as beads or rhinestones to decorate crafts. Paper should be cut into many squares of the same shape. You can use ready-made stickers, for example, take white and blue leaves.

To make beautiful voluminous paper snowflakes in stages, fold all the squares into a cone with a protruding corner. Glue inner sides so that the cone does not fall apart.

Small, bulky snowflakes will be harder to make as described, so think about how to glue the sides well: you may need to use a thin brush.

After the glue dries, start connecting the elements to each other. Fasten the edges of the cone-shaped blanks in a circle. For reliability, go over the glue on the sides of each figure so that they are connected to each other.

In the photo you will see an example of such snowflakes with two layers. The outer layer is made of cone-shaped blanks of smaller size. We complete the work by gluing rhinestones or beads in the middle and along the edges. The decoration is ready, and you can quickly make new voluminous paper snowflakes using this technique at any time.

Modular snowflakes of different shapes

You can make a beautiful snowflake from a large number folded triangles attached to each other. To obtain such a voluminous origami snowflake, you must first prepare a large number of parts as shown in the photo with step-by-step instructions.

One of the advantages of this method of creating New Year's voluminous paper snowflakes is that you can easily adjust the size of the craft by simply adding or removing some elements. By the way, you can use this technique when creating other crafts on a festive theme.

You can also do crafts by folding one piece of paper.
