Take scissors and make cuts from the edge of the circle to the center, fluff the ends of the paper with your hands - you get a fluffy ball. Depending on the color scheme, the “fluffy ball” can turn into a red carnation, yellow dandelion, snowball, blue cornflower, hedgehog needles, etc.
Connect the colored lumps with each other - you get beads, a snowman, fluffy fur coats of animals and birds. Try changing the shape of a circle to an oval or other fancy shape and you will get an amazing fluffy tree or cloud. A little more imagination - and the “fluffy balls” will turn into festive colored fireworks, Balloons, Christmas tree decorations, etc.
Christmas garlands
Cut rectangles out of paper and fold them in half. On one side of the folded rectangle, draw the profile of one chain link. Cut out the link and straighten the paper. In order to get a long chain, you need to prepare a large number of such links. Then thread one link through the other one at a time. Some of the links can be made multi-colored. In this case, the colors need to be alternated evenly.

To do this, cut the foil into 20x20 cm squares, and then have your child roll each square into a ball. It doesn’t matter if the balls are not perfectly round at first. A little practice and it will turn out much better. Now the balls need to be strung on a strong thread, and the silver beads are ready. Before stringing, you can color the beads. To do this, you need to drop a little paint on your palms and roll our beads between them. Give this pleasure to your baby. Then we let them dry (we lay them out on newspaper and leave them alone for a while), and only then string them. You will get spectacular colored beads on which the silver shines through the paint.

Here's another way to make beads. This time from paper. You will need a colored one wrapping or bright pages of read glossy magazines. Your task is to cut the paper so that you get strips that are wide at the base and narrow at the end. If you roll such a strip into a “roll”, starting from the wide edge, and secure the end with a drop of glue, we will get a wonderful bright bead. You can wrap the paper around a cocktail straw (cut off the excess ends). Then it will be easy to string the beads onto the thread. Try making these beads from different types of paper.

And if you take two types of pasta, you can alternate them. Quick toys Original Christmas tree decorations can be made from anything, even from materials that are usually considered garbage. Shall we try? Together with your child, you can make original Christmas tree balls from ordinary glass light bulbs of any shape and size. You just need to paint them with acrylic paints and attach a ribbon to the base. We cover the base itself with a “skirt” of fabric, colored paper or wide ribbon. One of the painting options: first tint all the glass with one color, dry it, and then paint patterns on top. Instead of acrylic paints you can use ordinary gouache mixed with PVA glue. If our light bulbs are colored appropriately, they will turn not only into balls and icicles, but also into a snowman or cute little animals. Hold the light bulb in your hands, and let the baby hit it with a brush to his heart's content. The result will be a funny gobbledygook.

Cute Christmas tree decorations that even kids can make are made from ordinary pasta. Cut out circles from colored cardboard and glue them in pairs (so that both sides are colored). Now we select pasta of cute shapes (stars, letters, little animals, shells), grease them with glue and place them randomly on the surface of our cardboard blanks. Then paint the pasta with a brush or spray it with spray paint. We do the same on the other side. Thread a thread and the toy is ready. In the same way, you can make, for example, a green cardboard Christmas tree and decorate it with pasta toys.

To do this, use a thick needle to make two holes in a raw chicken egg (one opposite the other), blow out the contents through the holes, then rinse and dry the shell well. What the shell will now turn into depends only on the child’s imagination.

You just need to draw a face and glue on additional accessories: hair or mane made of woolen threads, mustaches and beards made of cotton wool, hats and clown caps made of colored paper, bows and ties made of ribbons. Secondly, from the shell you can make a cute chicken (cover the shell with yellow paint, add feathers), a penguin (use black and white paint, glue black wings and red legs from colored paper) and many other feathered and furry representatives of the fauna: a bunny, an owl , mouse, kitten.

Isn’t it a miracle when absolutely identical white shells turn into completely different characters, with their own personalities? The finished toy can be coated with colorless varnish. Break off a piece of a match, tie a strong thread to its middle, insert the match into the hole on the “head” of the toy (we blew out the white and yolk through it) and lower it inside on the thread.

Our assistant - salty dough If you and your baby have never tried to sculpt from salt dough, it’s time to try it one (and if you like it, then more than one) December evening. It is from such simple and affordable material that wonderful Christmas tree decorations are made. The dough recipe is simple. Mix in a bowl a glass of flour, a glass of coarse salt, a tablespoon sunflower oil and half a glass of water. Knead the dough thoroughly until it is soft and elastic. Now you can open a factory for the production of exclusive Christmas tree decorations. And be sure to come up with some fun name for your toy factory. It's more interesting that way, isn't it?

From salt dough, like from plasticine, you can mold absolutely anything. But, unlike plasticine, dough figures can be dried, painted, varnished and stored for a very long time. Just be sure to do it in a dry place. Crafts made from salt dough quickly deteriorate due to moisture. So, what are we going to sculpt? Little craftsmen can roll out balls, make a bun or a snowman. With your help, the kids will make all kinds of little animals, Christmas trees, and houses. Don't forget about the symbol of the coming year. You can roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out silhouettes from it with cookie cutters. Dry the resulting figures in the oven on the lowest heat for 30-60 minutes (this depends on the thickness of the toy). Then we paint them with colors of our choice and cover them with varnish.
